Rainbow dice pouch displayed with gold coins and dungeons and dragons book

I know a number of people who have taken up Dungeons & Dragons lately. As an old tabletop gamer and sometimes-collector of RPG dice myself, it occurred to me that dice pouches might be a well-appreciated gift item. After a little research and experimentation, I devised two different dice pouches that I am happy to announce are available for custom order in my brand-new Etsy shop.

Three dice pouches in three shades of rainbow

The first is the Rainbow Prismatic Dice Bag. The original design is a six-color rainbow–I even devised three different rainbow-hue palettes–but it can be made in any combination of 2, 3, 4 or 6 colors.

The second is the Jane Austen Dice Bag. Single color, with a flat bottom and a lacy top, this pouch can be any color imaginable.

Both are made with cotton yarn, which is soft and strong at the same time, and won’t stretch out of shape as quickly as acrylic would. The yarn weight is lighter weight than worsted (DK in once instance, sport in the other) so the material is thin and pliable. What I love best is that the yarn I chose for each style comes in an incredible range of colors, so customers can choose a palette that matches their dice, or their character, or their mood, or whatever.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that these drawstring pouches can be used for more than just dice. They make great jewelry pouches, for example, or catch-all for all kinds of tiny things. For bridesmaid’s gifts, imagine them in shades of coordinating pastels. Or to hold a marble collection.

I am excited to have my first product for sale in my shop! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
